CX2500-Mxxx现场总线主模块是嵌入式PC机系列CX20xx、CX52x0、CX53x0和CX56x0的左侧附件。使用带有现场总线主模块的系统，可以使用进一步的现场总线组件(总线耦合器、总线终端控制器、驱动技术等)在广泛的工厂和机器中进行分段式的控制结构构建。
CX2500-M510现场总线主控模块具有CANopen主控模块的功能。每个模块占用一个PCI Express通道，在CX20xx组的左侧，可以任意组合连接4个模块。与倍福PCIe现场总线卡相比，现场总线主模块的技术数据几乎相同，只是通道单一。
几个相同或不同的主控机的并行操作是可能的，例如两个PROFIBUS主控机或一个PROFIBUS主控机和一个CANopen主控机。在主从连接混合操作的情况下，CX系统充当不同现场总线之间的智能网关:数据被接收、处理并馈送到其他现场总线。主或从连接通过现场总线级别严格确定地连接多个CX系统。通过将CX现场总线模块添加到现有的CX系统中，可以对其进行改造/交换。模块的扫描和识别、参数化、连接的I/O组件的配置以及过程/现场总线状态的在线诊断都在TwinCAT系统管理器中进行。 |
